Majd Asadi posts:
"I’m sure that at least among the activists around me here, most are not familiar with the phenomenon of “skin and organ theft” from the bodies of Palestinians. It’s a very old phenomenon I remember reading and hearing from many Palestinians who said that when their relatives’ bodies were returned, they were missing parts and organs. This was once featured on the Israeli TV program “Orly and Guy”, where there were testimonies about it. I recommend watching and reading more about this issue. Here are findings from an investigative report by Al-Quds News Network, which speak for themselves:
120 Palestinian bodies have been released since the ceasefire agreement. Some of these bodies belonged to prisoners who were killed under torture, and others were taken by the army from hospitals and medical centers in Gaza. Those who followed the army’s actions likely came across these reports.
Some of the prisoners’ bodies were missing organs: eye corneas, livers, internal organs, and limbs.
Some of the stolen bodies were returned without heads or with torn scalps, while others were only body parts or remains."

"Israel has the largest skin bank in the world, established in 1986.
The skin of Palestinian bodies is stolen, processed, and used for the treatment of burns and various medical conditions.
Vital organs such as the cornea, liver, kidneys, and heart are specifically targeted to be transplanted into patients’ bodies or used for medical research.
The skin is removed from the back of the body to conceal the crime, and eyelids are glued shut to hide the theft.
The Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet documented the involvement of the Israeli Abu Kabir Forensic Institute in organ theft and trafficking through illegal international companies.
“During my time at the Abu Kabir Forensic Institute in Tel Aviv, I saw how they took organs from Palestinian bodies, while leaving Israeli soldiers’ bodies intact.”
Anthropologist Mira Weiss, in her book “Over Their Dead Bodies”.
The former head of Abu Kabir, Prof. Yehuda Hiss, admitted to disciplinary negligence that allowed the removal of organs and tissues (including skin) from bodies without the families’ consent, and reports indicate that this indeed included Palestinian bodies."
Decades ago when discharged from #IDF service, I heard tell of Israeli #OrganTheft from #Palestinians.
The counternarrative - "this is an evolution of blood libel" - sounded true then.
Now, blood libel has been overused as a shield for #IsraeliNazism.
