What are we reading to start the new year?

I'll go first: I've got Patrick Stewart's memoir #MakingItSo on audiobook and one on public relations in hardcover - both thanks to the amazing catalogue at the #OttawaPublicLibrary.

What a great reminder.

Just set myself up for some #audiobooks for my morning #ottwalk commute. It's a 1 hour walk. People keep suggesting podcasts but I hate podcasts. Maybe audio books are the way to go.

Deachman: Ottawa Public Library art must not be left orphaned The library is taking half of its public art pieces to its new home on LeBreton Flats in 2026. The future of the rest is uncertain.

This is disheartening... for now. There is still time to keep these works of art public.
