#JoeKubert continued to expand his work on DC's war comics, such as creating #EnemyAce with writer #RobertKanigher, first appearing in #OurArmyAtWar #151 (February 1965), about a German fighter pilot during World War I. The character has been a cult favorite to this day.
After #St.Johns and their 3-D comic book venture went defunct, #JoeKubert returned to #DCComics, where writer/editor #RobertKanigher put him on their war comics line. This lead to Kubert doing his first #Sgt.Rock story in #OurArmyatWar #83 (June 1959) with a story by #BobHaney.
