Overload = Reizüberflutung bei Autist*innen Panikattacken = Angstreaktion bis hin zu Todesangst
Sehen von außen ähnlich aus. Fühlen sich von innen ähnlch an. Aber: komplett andere Ursache, komplett andere Behandlung nötig.
Bei Overloads geht es u.a. um Reizvermeidung und -management. Bei Panikattacken u.a. um Konfrontation, d.h. sich de angstauslösenden Reizen aussetzen, bis diese nicht mehr als bedrohlich erlebt werden.
Overloads werden oft als Panikattacken fehldiagnostiziert.
Bei beidem ist aber eine andere Behandlung nötig, damit es Fortschritte geben kann und die Behandlung nicht das Grundproblem verschlimmert.
