An artificial soul weapon made by sacrificing the lives of countless people. Originally an all consuming mass of vengeful fury, Dark Spear fought its host for control at all times - a host that had taken it to prevent more lives from being devoured by it. Somehow purified, the rage has dulled to a simmering disappointment that humankind continues to harm their own. The lust for vengeance has turned into a desire to protect, and the Spear has instead become a Shield. However, both weapon and host still agree, that the best defence is a strong offense....
