I traveled in Eastern Europe in 1995. Where Belgium to Germany was just a stop, Czech Republic to Hungary was an all doors closed-locked, multiple soldiers with big guns screaming #PASSPORT. I traveled to Canada in 2003. I maybe showed my basic driver's license.
I don't recognize the US anymore.
