The preferences dialogue box in PC6001VX, offering the option to set "Num of Drives" to 0.
If you are having trouble reliably loading tape images in the PC6001VX emulator, try changing "number of drives" to zero.
I'm not sure yet why this prevents the CMT load from becoming corrupt, but disabling disk drives seems to help load Hydlide & other games with binary loaders.
