Portland Community College strike continues as staff unions conduct all-day mediation The state’s largest higher education institution is running classes remotely, while talks to end Oregon’s first-ever community college strike continue.

“Our members are committed to staying strong and on the picket line until we settle a contract,” Cushing wrote.
