I finished Bitter #Peleliu: The Forgotten Struggle on the Pacific War's Worst Battlefield by Joseph Wheelan last night. It is a great read covering all the fighting including the roles of US Marine Corps, US Navy, and US Army. The aftermath of the battle is particularly eye opening. #ww2 #history
