Antarctica update 🇦🇶

I'm back to 'normal work' at the FMI office.

At the end of last year, I lived my dream, having the privilege of spending a month in the Antarctic.

Our field work is part of the WhiteIce campaign, a POLARIN project run by Roberta Pirazzini. We will build continuously monitoring weather and radiation stations, use drones for RGB, albedo and thermal mapping, and do manual snow-related measurements.

In less than 2 weeks I will be departing to the Antarctic! I will spend a month at the Mario Zucchelli Station🇮🇹, the base for our field work on the Nansen Ice Shelf.
