Official Statement from ProtectMADEIN Regarding MADEIN’s Nagomi It has come to our attention that Nagomi, the youngest member of MADEIN, a minor at the age of 17, was styled in an inappropriate bodysuit for the Saturn music video.* We find this deeply troubling and highly inappropriate, raising serious concerns about 143 Entertainment’s commitment to safeguarding its underage artists. This issue is even more alarming in light of previous allegations regarding Lee Yong-hak (Digital Masta) and his misconduct toward Gaeun when she was also a minor. Additionally, ProtectMADEIN had previously reached out to 143 Entertainment regarding another underage member, Serina, who was not only dressed inappropriately but also featured on explicit online platforms. Despite our attempts to contact the company, they failed to take meaningful action to remove the content or to institute stronger protections for their artists. We unequivocally denounce 143 Entertainment’s continued negligence when it comes to the safety and well-being of its underage talent. The entertainment industry holds a responsibility to uphold the highest ethical standards, particularly when it comes to protecting young artists from exploitation.
