Rewatched #teenagemutantninjaturtles3 I actually liked this movie when I was a kid, even though I knew this felt so out of place. But the older I got I realised this one actually #sucked ! The 3rd movie is more cornier than the 2nd movie, the #feudaljapan story felt like it was a different, seperate movie until some dumbass decided to mix it with a #tmnt movie (which didn't look good as a result), the villains are bland & forgettable and the costumes look more cartoony & looking at Michaelangelo 's close-up he looks more like a frog than a turtle! Originally the ending of the 2nd movie would have turned out that David Warner's character was actually an Ultrom, a brain-looking alien just like Krang from the cartoon, who created the chemical ooze & the 3rd movie would have originally started there where the 2nd movie ended. But it got scrapped because they thought kids would mistake the Ultrom for Krang. Years later the director of the 2nd movie confirmed it was just a rumor, but according to Peter Laird, 2nd creator of TMNT, he did read a scene from the script that had the reveal but it was never filmed. Rewatched #teenagemutantninjaturtles2 #teenagemutantninjaturtles2thesecretoftheooze - The gritty feel is more toned down & it's more cornier than the 1st movie, but I still like it & you can say that this is one of my #guiltypleasures Plus I used to watch this one all the time on VHS when I was a kid. #paigeturco wasn't a bad replacement as #apriloneil , but I did miss Judith Hoag in the role (lf I remember it correctly she turned the 2nd movie down because it didn't have the same feel & structure like the 1st movie had. That & the director was unhappy on how she derided the way they mistreated the stunt doubles & their unfair schedule changes) Instead of Casey Jones, this awesome vigilante in hockey mask & having clubs from different sports as weapons, we get Keno, the pizza delivery guy who happens to know martial arts. Ernie Reyes Jr. wasn't bad in the movie, but l just didn't care about his character. I missed Casey Jones!
