In the city of Bannu, Khyber #Pakhtunkhwa, two suicide blasts struck the Cantonment area at the time of Iftar, destroying nearby houses and burying many people under the #rubble.
A single family lost 7 members, while a total of 15 innocent civilians were #killed, including 4 children and 2 women.

The #Islamabad police's recent antics have been a masterclass in hypocrisy. On one hand, #Pashtuns are being targeted by terrorists in #Pakhtunkhwa, and on the other, they're being arrested in Islamabad simply for being Pashtuns. Talk about a double whammy!

A mercenary war is ongoing in #Pakhtunkhwa. Military search operations, drone attacks, suicide attacks, bomb blasts and targeted killings are taking place daily in the tribal and southern districts. Innocent people have been killed in drone attacks in the districts of Waziristan, Tank and Mohmand.

A full fledged war is raging in Pakhtunkhwa day in and day out with mounting casualties. But it has been normalised so much that it attracts far little attention/comment than the wars far away. Pashtuns must rise themselves for stopping this horrible bloodshed.
