Something, in other words, that holds things together. Something that holds us together. Something that says we’re not shutting-up. Something that ALSO picks locks. Something that ALSO opens handcuffs. Something that ALSO when you straighten it out, is a weapon. Something that was worn in WW2 as a sign of resistance to Nazi Occupation. Something that you have in your desk drawer right now! Comely Reader! I suggest we all start wearing the paper clip. Subtler than a red hat, more powerful as CONNECTION.

As a symbol of solidarity, Norwegians wore paper clips on their lapels and wore them as jewelry in opposition to Nazi occupation. It was a quiet act of defiance symbolizing unity against Nazi rule.
We can do that here to reject MAGA tyranny.
