We need to stop glamorizing overworking. Please. The absence of sleep, good diet, exercise, relaxation, and time with friends and family isn't something to be applauded. Too many people wear their burnout as a badge of honor and it needs to change
The cocoon stage of healing is when all you want to do is: rest, avoid small talk, and no longer take part in the chaos of other people's lives. It's lonely, but liberating.
She needs to know she isn't meant to do it all. She needs to know life isn't supposed to be a chronic sacrifice. She needs to understand the reward for pushing herself beyond her limits is disease and exhaustion.
