So interesting to be studying this week's #parsha / #Torah portion. In Shemot (first parsha in Exodus): 1) A new Pharaoh arises who doesn't remember Yosef, and he decides the children of Israel are teeming throngs, like insects, and declares they might become the "enemy within."

Gen 46:4 announces that Jacob, named Israel, will be mutilated by Joseph: female intersex genital mutilation in Egypt, under Pharaoh’s rule.
The Exodus and the taking of the promised land is determined by male IGM—to finally reclaim one’s own body—and stay #intersex. #StopIGM #Parsha

“I will go down with you to Egypt, and I will also surely bring you up again, and Joseph will set his hand upon your ʿayin.” (Genesis 46:4)
When ʿayin is read as source / gonads, this is an act of taking possession — announcing female intersex genital mutilation in Egypt.

Interpreting Joseph’s ketonet pasim—the hemmed robe—in Genesis 37:3 requires isolating its scriptural layer 37:1–3, which is descriptive and non-dramatic. Here the garment can be read as male IGM!

From this Jacob, who is #intersex, recognizes Mahanaim—the two-camp—as they leave Laban (Gen 32:1).
