Good on the BMA for standing up for its members to get pay restoration. Other unions representing hospital workers should take note and be more assertive in getting better deals for its members , they deserve it too.

Confirmed. Resident Doctors’ strike in England, 7:00am on 17 December to 06:59am on 22 December.
After the last round of strike action, resident doctors in England gave Wes Streeting a window to deliver sufficient progress towards a viable deal on jobs and pay.
That hasn’t happened.
Residents have been given no choice but to return to the picket lines.

Wes Streeting is wrong. There would be no NHS if we don’t have doctors :they are not the threat here. Years of underfunding and cutting wages has been devastating for moral and that’s the real threat. Doctors will leave or not start training .
