I'm concerned that, as currently written, the "Combatting Hate Act" aka #BillC9 could, & probably would, be abusively misused by some religious communities to suppress #PeacefulPublicProtest against #ClergyAbuse & other injustices & abuses outside their places of worship.

I'm concerned religious groups could & will misuse this anti-hate bill to suppress & punish legitimate #PeacefulPublicProtest against #ClergyAbuse & other problems outside their places of worship.
Protesting against the injustices, abuses & #hypocrisy of religious groups should not be criminalized.
I'm well acquainted with the #SPVM, including its proclivity to repress #PeacefulPublicProtest & other "Charter protected" #rights&freedoms.
I'm not sure #MySPVM is "the worst police force in Canada", but its pretense to be the best #PoliceForce in #NorthAmerica is questionable.

Based on what I have actually experienced over the span of over a quarter century, I can foresee-predict Canada's #HateSpeech laws, or similar laws, being misused to suppress #TruthTelling about, & #PeacefulPublicProtest against, #ClergySexAbuse etc.
