This one image from this article reminds me of petoskey stones that are mainly found in the NW portion of Michigan's lower peninsula. They are fossilized rugose coral. I have used them as a cognate for a milpreve / adder's stone. #FolkWitch #Pellorys #WitchSky

A sculpture of Three Goddesses in the Corinium Museum in Cirencester, Gloucestershire. This relief dating to the 2nd or 3rd Century AD depicts three sitting goddesses carved from local oolitic limestone and was recovered from a site in Ashcroft in 1899.

Salt dough based poppet for work within Pellorys. The "Mother Batch" of dough is 28+ years old now. Dough poppets are usually burnt to ash, and reincorporated back into the Mother Batch. Soil, herbs, bone, blood, etc have been added to the batch over the years.

Cloth poppet made of my maternal Grandmother. I used her own clothes, jewelry, makeup and her hair to create it. She has a heart inside made from salt dough based clay. The "Mother Batch" of dough is 28+ years old now. Dough poppets are usually burnt to ash, and reincorporated back into the Mother Batch. Soil, herbs, bone, blood, etc have been added to the batch over the years.

Photo of the "Mother Batch" of salt dough clay. It lives in my refrigerator. It's 28+ years old now, and has soil from sacred sites, ancestral sites, etc incorporated within it. It has also had herbs, bones, and waters collected from sites incorporated into it. Bag in the upper portion within the container is peat taken from Carrowkeel in Ireland.
