#PenalColonyDay 26/01/27 is also the day that the WA Government established a #RoyalCommission into the killing and burning of at least 20 #Aboriginal people in the #Kimberley. All the whites lied to the Commission. Two of the #police were prosecuted but charges were dismissed.

#PenalColonyDay 26/01/1838 is also the day #MajorNunn and his military gang murdered dozens (maybe 100s) of Aboriginal people at #WarerlooCreek in #NSW. These killings were encouraged by Lt Gov Snodgrass’ directive and were never investigated.
