Traffic calming aside I want PROTECTED BIKE INFRASTRUCTURE on #PennAve. That's it. I don't give a rats ass about inconveniencing drivists in the #stripdistrict. Losing one stupid goddamn lane won't hurt them. Carcentric culture has to go. #PaintIsNotProtection

The biz owners and entitled drivists who come in from the burbs are suing my city against putting in bidirectional bike lanes on #PennAve. It is infuriating. I don't want to ride the sidewalk, but I also deserve to stay alive.

One way streets with murder strips (aka sharrows) can be a scary ride. Drivists go faster on one way streets than on 2 way. I don't begrudge any cyclist who take the sidewalk for their safety. In fact, #PennAve in PGH ##stripdistrict is 1 way w/sharrows, 2 lanes driving, w 2 lanes of parked cars!
