A stylized macrophoto I took of a small pericallis flower sticking up out of the woven beige fibers of a basket. The flower has long, thin petals with magenta ends and brilliant white inner halves. The centre is a deep, ruffled purple. The fibres of the basket are mostly blurred, but the ones in the centre are highly textured and worn with use.

The world is not what we grew up thinking it was, but maybe we could build it to what it needs to be. We don't need to abolish our fear, just to cushion it with courage.
