17 Indian-flagged vessels remain in western Persian Gulf: Centre
New Delhi, April 4 (SocialNews.XYZ) Seventeen Indian-flagged vessels, carrying around 460 Indian seafarers, continue to operate in the western Persian Gulf region, the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas said on Saturday. The government also said that necessary measures are in place to ensure their safety amid evolving maritime conditions. According to the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, it is closely monitoring shipping movements, port operations and the safety of Indian seafarers, while ensuring uninterrupted maritime trade.
