The Wait Ends: Madeira’s Legendary PR1 Trail to Reopen Closed since the 2024 wildfires, the PR1 Pico do Arieiro–Pico Ruivo trail is now scheduled to reopen. Visitors will be able to access it after the Madeira Island Ultra-Trail event.
