A bronze statue of the ancient Greek goddess Athena , the goddess of wisdom and strategy. She was also the patron goddess of the city of Athens. In her right hand she had a smaller statue of the goddess Nike, the goddess of victory.

The #archaeological #museum of #Pireaus is not so famous. But you can observe many interesting exhibits there, such as this tiny clay #Eros or the amazing bronze #statue of the goddess #Athena.

Zozef Terjivasian (1916-1999) was a bouzouki luthier born in Afyonkarahisar, Asia Minor (today Turkey) during the #ArmenianGenocide. After the genocide, he settled in the Nikaia district of #Pireaus, Greece. From 1934-1985, 90% of Greek songs were recorded using a Zozef bouzouki.
