The Pod ball even comes with a nice stand to display it on! It sits nicely and doesn't click into place, so it's easy to take off and put on.
Lighting wasn't perfect for this, but I like the figure inside as it helps to give a sense of scale to the model that you don't often get with other Gundam model kits.

It's finally finished! The MG Ball Pod aka The Flying Coffin! Some of the small wires for the arms were very stressful, because I have sausage fingers and the holes were TINY.
