The other, Pogo Badius is a newer colony. The Queen hides a lot more, and is (in comparison) a big beast of a lady. Their first test tube got a bit mucky and they recently got a new and clean home. Hopefully she'll have some brood soon.

Florida Harvester #Ants ( #Pogonomyrmex badius) vary their insect foraging across the year, but they always like seeds. Also, #Solenopsis invicta fire ants are mean but not deadly for FHAs. Message me if you want to learn more!
