Six objective criteria e Scientific Robustness — will it work? e.g. slowing ice sheets e Environmental damage. e.g. SAl and ocean acidification e Cost. £100s bn are needed for installation, continuation and maintenance — from where? e Governance — no governance exists for the case studies looked at. e Spatial and temporal scales — no ideas can be feasibly scaled within the time window of decarbonising. e Vested interests — to some the idea of dealing with climate change without decarbonising is a gift, and is wrong.

Dust particles absorb and scatter sunlight thus having a cooling effect. A sort of Teleconnection between the dust decline in parts of asia and the #warming-arctic has been reported👇🏽. We need to understand & stress the fact that the #Arctic isn't isolated from the global #climate 🧪🎢 #PolarClimate
