I take these photos so I can enjoy the progress of the sun across the sky as the seasons change. Here at the summer solstice, it’s high left, in December it’s low to the right. This photo is dedicated to everybody who rides a bike for transport and especially to those who ride year round. I’m particularly enjoying the warm weather at the moment which means that I don’t need gloves for warmth, and thinking back to the depths of winter when even withmy warm gloves with pogies, I’d still arrive at work frozen. In the mornings this week, the dips in the landscape contained delicious, cool air, but in winter, they’re punishingly cold. Whatever you ride, keep on keeping on.
