Pryor Creek approves modest electric and water rate increases; council debates affordability The Pryor Creek City Council approved municipal utility board recommendations to raise the residential electric rate from $0.081/kWh to $0.083/kWh and to increase the water rate from $5.27 to $5.45 per 1,000 gallons, effective with the Jan. 26 billing cycle. Council members and utility officials debated cost recovery, customer burden and infrastructure needs before passing both measures.
