To the left and up she is in the same pose, except in the original art style; it is a recreation of the sprite of Hornet holding her cloak. To the right is her head drawn twice, one angry and one smiling. The angry one has her pedipalps flared out and fangs bared, while the smiling one only has a very faint line showing where the pedipalps lay. A note between the two reads: "Pedipalps; flare out as a threat display, otherwise lay flush with the rest of the head, nearly invisible & covering fangs." The Hollow Knight stands at the center, brandishing a Pure Nail and emanating a light not unlike the Pale King's. His face is cracked between his horns, but it's healed and not so visible. Hollow wears a cape the same blue color of Lifeblood that reaches down to his knees. A much darker blue capelet that reaches his elbows is layered on top, his sword arm moving the fabric enough to show the King's Brand on Hollow's thorax. The collar securing the capelet is silver and shaped like an Everbloom. Behind the Hollow Knight is a blurred view of the Abyss, with a few tendrils of Void reaching upwards. The glowing white eyes of many Vessels can be discerned, along with the shapes of a small handful including Kin, aka the Broken Vessel on the right, and Larva, aka the Greenpath Vessel on the left. At the center of the background and looming over the rest is the Lord of Shades, known as Ghost before ascension. Along the top of the image are vines of Lifeblood, indicated by their luminous blue brachts that resemble butterflies.
