Still feeling sleepy this morning? Spare a thought for this western pygmy possum that was caught in one of our sandhill dunnart fauna surveys recently. He could barely keep his eyes open as he was weighed and measured, then released into a tree hollow to get back to sleep.

The pygmy possum has to be the cutest of all the marsupials IMHO.
This fellow was still in torpa so we quickly weighed and measured and was popped in a safe hollow to nod back off again .
