137: Seasonal Affective Disorder Photo Description: Panel 1: Present is a barn owl named Cupcake inside her nest wearing a pink hat and pink scarf. She has a yellow mug with steam coming off of it. The mug says "HOOT IF YOU'RE HAPPY". Her nest is a variety of browns with snow and a single withered forget-me-not flower on the outside. They're in a snow covered brown tree with an orange and purple sunset background. Visiting her is a sad pygmy owl named Coffee. Cupcake asks in nighttime white text, "What's wrong, Coffee? Aren't you loving how early it gets dark?" Panel 2: The orange background fades and the purple gets darker. Coffee replies in daytime black text, "I'm a diurnal owl." Panel 3: The orange background is gone leaving only dark purple. She continues, "Seasonal affective disorder really gets to me." Panel 4: Stars are now visible in the background. Cupcake responds, "That is valid. Since I love the night, I can use more of my energy to support you if you would like." There is an orange heart above Coffee.
Coffee will almost always be seen in daytime backgrounds. It's also why her text is black rather than white, more contrast. Just makes her unique to other owls.
