HIV/AIDS Activists Shut Down Traffic Outside State Department Protesting Trump’s PEPFAR Freeze The civil disobedience draws attention to a federal program credited with saving 25 million lives in over 50 countries.

The United Nations AIDS Agency previously stated that more than six million people could die from HIV and AIDS in the next four years if the Trump administration pulls its global funding for PEPFAR.

Paragraph 175 Paragraph 175 was a German statute that criminalized sexual relations between men. The Nazis revised Paragraph 175 in 1935 to make it broader and harsher.

Legislation criminalizing homosexual acts was enshrined in Paragraph 175 during German Empire.
An unnatural sex act committed between persons of male sex or by humans with animals is punishable by imprisonment.
And obviously, death.
