Getting ready for my second round of botox to be injected into a muscle in my throat tomorrow. Fingers crossed it works this time as I'm getting a higher dose. #RCPD

Well it's been 2.5 weeks. I'm basically not burping again and having the same symptoms. I've been doing the exercises, drinking fizzy drinks... and I'm back to violent hiccups at the cp muscle and throat gurgles. So frustrating. Can't get another set of shots for several months.

Its been a full week! Last night I believe the botox really started doing it's thing. I had tons of tiny microburps while eating. Such a weird feeling.

Even more weird was waking up at 3am, burped, and tasted the last thing I ate last night. This is what I've been missing out on?

So I'm hoping this means some progress. The past few days the pressure of trapped air in my throat has been so awful, but laying down seems to cause a couple bubbles to pop out. Today, if I yawn hard enough, a tiny burp happens. Or if I stretch my arms over my head and twist my torso!

Sometimes there is a bit of reflux, but it isn't too bad. Both of these should be gone in about a week or so.

I'll keep updating this thread with new fun experiences, in the hopes it might help someone else out here.
