We were 1 year apart at medical school. Have reunited recently in our efforts to improve representation & raise awareness for Black & Brown anaesthetists & intensivists. So lovely to see her at #RCoADips

We met in Jan 2020 @msa_courses. When time came for our Final SOE, we met almost every day on Zoom for hours, 6.30am, 9.30pm, after shifts, between night shifts. It felt like an uphill struggle. The exam impossible to attain. We became great friends, reunited again at #RCoADips
24 years ago I gave birth to my oldest child. Had an epidural. Vowed there & then to become an anaesthetist. Wasn’t even a doctor. So it took quite a while!
Today I collected my #FRCA from my F1 & F2 supervisor & @RCoAPresident Dr Fiona Donald. How marvellous! #RCoADips
