the first cassette I ever bought was a compilation album called Night Moves- the opening track was ‘Dreaming’ by Blondie & I was blown away by the drumming intro & throughout the track- that drummer has just passed away, however the impact he made on me as an 11 year old boy never left me

Blondie were the first band I ever loved. I was 7 and used to sit in a beanbag listening to Blondie with big 🎧 on, attached by a curly cable to our Toshiba house stereo.

Ah dear, it appears that Clem Burke has died aged only 70. He was one of the top drummers in the world in my opinion. He did a short stint with many bands, including the Eurythmics. #RIPClem
