#HMHSBritannic was launched on #ThisDayInHistory in 1914. Meant to serve as #RMSBritannic on the North Atlantic #OceanLiner service, and built as a larger, safer sister ship to #RMSTitanic & #RMSOlympic, she worked instead as a hospital ship until sunk by a mine in the Aegean.

Shame on me for choosing a 1/2000 scale model kit as my first time with one of these! The pieces are soon small! It took me 20 minutes just to attach some minor railing to the first deck!
