Deaf poet, Raymond Antrobus explains their sign name in BSL - an illustration is provided on the middle of the page. Text reads "My Sign Name is the BSL letter R (place trigger finger on dominant hand in shape of a hook, then place finger on palm of non-dominant hand, then lift dominant hand up over head, then open all fingers out in the BSL word for light, shower, sunrays)." This is followed by "The body houses countless feelings that can't address their own names." Towards the bottom of the page is the poet's autograph & my sign name in Raymond's notation form.

Re-reading 'Signs, Music' by #RaymondAntrobus on the last day of #NationalPoetryMonth I didn't understand the appeal of signed (poet's signature) books, until I did.
