Well, this author is a barely functional puddle after #readercon34 - but only in body! In mind & spirit, I'm recharged by all the great conversations with both dear friends & exciting new friends!

One week out from #Readercon34 - and I've promised myself I won't stress pack until Wednesday night. I've also promised myself that I will chill out. I want to enjoy the conference, hopefully learn a few things from the guests - but most importantly just be *present*.

Contribute to our souvenir book! We are seeking souvenir book appreciation and reflection pieces about our guests of honor P. Djèlí Clark and Cecilia Tan, and memorial guest of honor Charles R. Saunders. Past contributions have been humorous, heartfelt, scholarly, and creative. Most pieces are 250–500 words, and the maximum length is 1,000 words. If you intend to contribute, please inform publications@readercon.org by January 1; the deadline to submit a piece is March 31.
