Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, Mojave Desert. In the foreground are greenish-yellow scrub bushes on both sides, growing on a sandy desert floor strewn with small and larger rocks. In the mid-ground running in a continuous row diagonally from low right mid-ground to higher left mid-ground is more substantial yellow-green line of foliage. Beyond that on the far left is a brownish rocky mesa, and appearing to sit next to it, but more distant, is a brownish gray and horizontally white striped mess that spans about three quarters of the photo, reaching to the right side. Above all this is a hazy blue sky with lines of horizontally oriented clouds.

The week may loom large and the end may seem distant, but wishing you a good #BlueskyMonday, anyway.

I moved to Las Vegas for a while to go to UNLV. I would watch the weather and when thunderstorms were coming that was one of my ques to head out for dark skies and dramatic lighting.
