What does vulnerability actually look like for young people?
For adults? The elderly?
PACT + #RedSandProject explored these questions through #art, conversations with #youth + #survivors, and a red sand activation in #NYC
#traffickers exploit #vulnerabilities
Earlier this year, PACT + #RedSandProject used art + red sand to show how youth “fall through the cracks.”
We also brought #youth, #survivors, and #advocates together to talk about what #vulnerabilities really look like.

Prevention means noticing those vulnerabilities early and building strong, reliable support systems so that cracks in the safety net never have the chance to form.

Traffickers don’t create vulnerability, they exploit what’s already there: neglect, instability, and a child’s need to be seen.
Prevention starts early, when adults notice what others miss and refuse to let kids slip through the cracks.
