Thanks to the #ReframeCovid initiative (sites.google.com/view/reframe...) we have a database of authentic metaphors used during the pandemic. We selected 4: lockdown as (1) war, (2) firebreak, (3) circuit break, (4) breakwater, and tested against a (5) non-metaphor condition as a baseline.
