A small harvest basket contains 2 cherry tomatoes and a handful of mouse melons. The melons (actually tiny cucumbers) have green skin with lighter green mottling that looks like a watermelon. But each one is half the size of a cherry tomato.

A cast iron dutch oven full to the brim. Slices of zucchini, eggplant, tomato, and onion are layered in a spiral on the top and sprinkled with minced garlic and herbs.
A serving of the previously pictured dish scooped onto a plate. Now the veggies are mixed and you can see ricotta, large white beans, and pasta mixed in.
With apologies to the French, I made up my own version of ratatouille and its delicious! The top layer looks just like ratatouille. Underneath there's a layer of cheese (ricotta with mozz cheddar herbs). Under that there's a layer of white beans. At the bottom is pasta. #resistanceGarden #vermont
A purple orb with leaves branching off in all directions. The stems and veins of the leaves are also purple and the leaves themselves are shaped a bit like kale. Dew drops hang off the leaf stems and the sun shines through green foliage of other garden plants behind it.
I have grown a little alien veggie! This is kohlrabi, it's a member of the brassica family and it tastes a bit like a mild broccoli stem. I eat it sliced or diced, raw in salads or sauted with other veggies. but mostly I grow it for its looks! #resistanceGarden #grownYouOwnFood #vermont #garden
