Monochrome filter used. Photograph taken on a late autumn day looking up at Restormel Castle, Cornwall, from the empty moat. Built in 13th Century, it was a fancy Norman castle in its day, now run by English Heritage. Circular castle walls sit atop a steep mound of grassed earth, pale sky overhead. The scene is interrupted by some seedheads blowing in the wind. Great place for an adventure - lots to see at such an old castle. At this time of year on a blustery day, it's fun to try catching falling leaves from the nearby trees too!
