Continued work on my hybrid particle Emitter idea. Looks like it might just work.
Seems to be quite quick too. I need get the direction of particle emissions to work... they just fall off the screen currently πŸ˜…

On #ReverseThrust I need to come up to a new way to do particles with #Godot4 I guess I could do some hybrid: GPU for cosmetic and write my own for gameplay. Enough collisions to play game and GPU particles perform well and look nice...

PokeParadox (@pokeparadox@social.linux.pizza) I'm back to the day job after the Xmas break, but I'm going to keep working on #ReverseThrust and try my best to keep the focus going. I've been thinking of how best to generate the increasingly larger blocks. My current idea is place box semi-randomly so that they meander downwards from the level divider line. If anyone has better ideas then my ears/eyes are open! πŸ˜€ #gamedev

I followed up on the idea to use the subdividing blocks horizontally or vertically to make subdividing rectangular blocks.
