The appearance of #Reynisfjara beach changed again after Sunday night’s spring tide and high waves. Íris Guðnadóttir, a farmer and landowner at Reynisfjara, says parts of the viewing platform by the #beach broke away and stones were washed onto the walking path.
The viewing platform at #Reynisfjara #beach almost disappeared in heavy surf and a spring tide on Sunday evening. The landowner says this does not pose a threat to #tourists, however, as it is not possible to reach all the way down to the beach.
