Sometimes I feel awkward clarifying that my interpretation of #KSU is not exactly a throuple;
I think it's fine if Kirk is interested in Uhura but I don't think he is ultimately her type- is where I differ. If anything I see Kirk and Uhura always trying to hook up the same people

[THUD] Kirk drooling awake in the backseat of a car. "WUH!" He's surprised as he notices he's not alone in the backseat (and being kidnapped). Spock is typing on his mobile screen laptop device beside him, without flinching. Uhura adjusts and looks at the back mirror of the car while driving to take a glance at Kirk. "Ah you're awake. Hello James, we understand your suspicion but I promise that you are safe with us. We are from Starfleet a secret space universe organization that your father was also a part of. We work with caring for different versions of the universe and deep space exploration. Due to the circumstances surrounding your father's passing... his involvement with starfleet was hidden from you for your safty until now. Sitting next to you is Commander Spock." Spock taking off his fedora revealing his Vulcan ears. "Greetings James T. Kirk- as lieutenant Uhura said you can address me as Spock. I am Vulcan, I come from a planet which is 16.26 light-years away from Earth. I would like to formally apologize for my earlier action. It was urgent that we remove you from Nero's land marking targeting your now exposed location." Speechless Kirk staring at Spock who is showing himself and offering his greetings with a Vulcan hand gesture.

I just want to add.. I think abt Vulcans and non Earthlings having different day cycles sometimes because 24 hours a day is a very earth specific axis/rotation cycle concept
(But maybe this is already different in Trek universe lore, if it is I'm sorry for not knowing)

Thinking abt.. Catfish(anthropomorphic) Spock.. his dad is a koi and his mom was a cat (doesn't make sense I know)
He usually stays closer to his cat form to blend in with the domesticaed cats/humans but if you look closely, you can tell that he's not really a cat..
