The law is clear. The #ICJ, Inter-American Court, UNGA and HRC have confirmed that:
✅ States must regulate private actors to prevent climate harm
✅“Polluter pays” principle upheld
✅ The #RightToAHealthyEnvironment is universal
Yet the LBI draft sidelines this. Civil society demands urgent fixes.
I talked about the status of recognition and implementation of the #RightToAHealthyEnvironment. I highlighted the Advisory Opinion of the #ICJ concluding that this right is essential for all other human rights.
