Rik Emmett & Phil X (Triumph) – Lay It On The Line Triumph gaat zowaar weer toeren, vanwege het 50-jarig jubileum. Net als dat andere Canadese trio Rush zullen de concerten alleen in Noord-Amerika plaatsvinden. Anders dan Rush zullen de heren van Triumph niet gedrieën, maar met zes man(!) op het podium staan. Naast Emmett, Moore en Levine zullen namelijk ook gitarist Phil X (Bon Jovi), bassist Todd Kerns en drummer Brent Fitz (beiden uit de niet-bluesband van Slash) zich erbij voegen. Of Levine er de hele reeks bij zal zijn is vanwege een handblessure nog even de vraag. Met zoveel moeite om een vol geluid neer te zetten, kunnen we wel aannemen dat er ook een livealbum gaat volgen. Emmetts stem is blijkens deze video nog heel behoorlijk, ook al zullen de hoge uithalen al een tijdje niet meer haalbaar zijn. Wel jammer dat ze Emmett’s gitaar op te laag volume hebben ingemixt.
